Most visitors to the Isle of Wight go for the warm summer temperatures, beautiful sandy beaches and unspoilt countryside. But a Mid November Morning like this takes some beating. An Adams Class 02 0-4-4T No. 24 Calbourne looks very much as if it is heading an early morning from Ryde Pier Head to Newport and Cowes service in the 1960s. But this in fact was a photographic charter on 16th November 2010. The train is seen emerging from the swirling morning mist near Ashey Station on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
