The "red 11", in German "rote 11", was until 1958 a tram line between Hanover and Hildesheim in Lower Saxony. Red four-axle vehicles were used on the red 11 to transport the passengers between the above-mentioned route. But also other trams were used. The association "Förderverein Straßenbahn Hannover e.V. (short: FSH)" possesses one unit of the oldtimer, tram 710. Last sunday was a special trip for the 65th birthday of the red 11. With the DÜWAG-articulated railcars 522, also from the FSH, was the tram 710 on the old route but only as far as Sarstedt. I took this picture after the metro station "Am Brabrinke" in Hanover. #trainspotting #tram #photo #red11 #hanover #sarstedt #hildesheim #photography #düwag #oldtimer
