Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive.
This Steam Loco is a Black 5 4-6-0 No. 44832.
Here we see a locomotive coasting downhill with the regular closed and a smoky fire in the firebox and a relatively short goods train lays down a smokescreen as it heads south at Moore Lane Bridge in 1965. Built in Crewe Works and into service in August 1944. The last allocation was Crewe South from where it was withdrawn in September 1967 and taken to TW Ward of Killamarsh for scrapping in December of that year.
