Divača - Slovenia 🇸🇮 - 10.26.22 A former steam locomotive of the Imperial-Royal State Railways "kkStb" (Austro-Hungarian) Class 80, which after WWI was handed over to the Yoguslavian Railways as a war reparation, today stands as a monument in front of the Divača Train Station Building. On the iron routes of the former Yoguslavian Railways these steamers were classified as the 90 Class. These steam locomotives were put into service on the Austrian railways in 1909 as an improved version of the Tw11 steam locomotive (kkStb 180 Class). Unlike the previous version, it had a twin engine that used superheated steam. The engine was designed by Karl Gölsdorf to be used on mountain routes. It was produced in the years 1911-1921. In the interwar period, 14 machines of this series were in operation on the PKP. After World War II, PKP had 12 such steam locomotives. Only one exists in Poland to this day and you can see it resting in the Chabówka Railway Museum 🇵🇱 #trainspotting #lineside #photo #train #steam #station #junction #kkösterreichischestaatsbahnen #joguslovenskezeleznice #slovenia
