Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Manor Class GWR 4-6-0 No. 7819 Hinton Manor. This was one of the lucky engines sent to Woodham Brothers in Barry from where it was eventually rescued in 1973 by the Hinton Manor Fund aided by the Severn Valley Railway where it joined 2 classmates Erlestoke Manor and Bradley Manor. It was restored and returned to the main line in 1977. After travelling many miles on the SVR and main line. It is now owned by the Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust and at the time of writing is a static exhibition within the Swindon Designer Outlet of McArthur Glen once the Swindon Railway Works.
