Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Britannia Class 4-6-2 No. 70042 Lord Roberts. This powerful Britannia heads an excursion southbound at Moore near Warrington in 1966. The Riddles designed locomotive was built at Crewe Works in April 1953. It's last shed was Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn on 13th May 1967 and scrapped 5 months later at J McWilliams of Shettleston.
