Witnessed by a throng of well dressed railway photographers perched on their vantage points. This Summer Saturdays Steam Spectacular at Bradford was soon to end. Seen here on 26th August 1967. The simultaneous departure from Exchange Station at 08:20am of 2 trains. On the left is a Black 5 4-6-0 No. 44694 heading for Bridlington via Low Moor and Halifax has rear end assistance while on the right is No. 44662 tackles the 1 in 50 gradient unaided with a Skegness train. Both engines were allocated to Low Moor Shed 55J.
