Well what a day yesterday the Saturday 21st May 2022. Following 7 years of overhaul #4498 "Sir Nigel Gresley" returned to mainline railtour duties with the 'A4 Locomotive Society Members Trip' railtour. I caught the tour heading north at Appleby as 1Z60 Crewe to Carlisle where 'Sir Nigel Gresley' took on water. #47614 was rear gunning. #trainspotting #lineside #station #train #steam #diesel
