An enthusiasts special double headed by BR Standard Class 5 4-6-0s Nos. 73050 now preserved and 73069 crosses Cornholm Viaduct on the climb from Milner Royd Junction at Todmorden to the summit of the line at Copy Pit. That date was 27th April 1968 just over 3 months before the eradication of standard gauge steam on British Railways.
