Two TXL Logistics Vectrons with an Italy 🇮🇹 bound Intermodal head towards Brenner as the train passes an XIX Century built railway section house located on the approach to the Gries am Brenner station limits. Recently, rumors spread about the possible demolition of this historic building on this part of the Brennerbahn Line. Unfortunately or fortunately, these rumors were confirmed by the former owner of this section house. After the BBÖ (Bundesbahnen Österreich) sold it as a run down property, it was thoroughly renovated and turned into a family house. In the near future, this most characteristic former section house on the line towards Brenner will be demolished by ÖBB themselves...
