Kielce - Poland π΅π± - 03.5.23 Yesterday's Transport of an 2Π’Π10Π class diesel after an heavy overhaul in Latvia is seen passing the Kielce station platforms with 4 protection cars used for transporting rolling stock with a SA-3 type knuckle couplers. The 2Π’Π10Π Class Diesel's were built between 1981 - 199x? in the same factory where the M62's were built for the Soviet Railways and many other Soviet Block Rail Companies, yes even for the PKP (Luhanskteplovoz). A total of 2,444 units we're built, including many 3 and 4 section units of these famous Soviet locomotives, which were specially built for the mountain sections of the ΠΠΠ (Baikal Amur Mainline) The maximum speed of these beasts is 100km/h and the "hearts" (I mean the engine) is the classic two-stroke 10Π100, which are famous for the earthquake sounds and producing a large black column of smoke behind it when in a high throttle notch π This is the first visit of this class of locomotives to Poland and it will not be the last π #trainspotting #lineside #photo #train #diesel #station #junction #skplcargo #poland
