Once a familiar sight on Waverley Route trains. An ex LNER Class D49 No. 62712 Morayshire receives the undivided attention of a young duffel coated trainspotter at Carlisle Citadel Station on 30th July 1960 with only 1 year to go before withdrawal. This loco was lucky to be saved from the scrapyard and is now preserved.
