This Steam Loco is a Black 5 4-6-0 No. 45483.
Edinburgh St Margaret's Shed in 1965 and we have a clean possibly ex works Black 5 standing amongst the fire bricks. The locomotive was built at Derby Works in 1943 and has been fitted with a tablet catching apparatus. It was withdrawn from St Margaret's in December 1966 and scrapped at Motherwell Machinery and Scrap during November 1967.
