Manchester aviation and rail
Sainsbury's fallowfield this morning, it was an old railway station on the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire railway, and then the London north Eastern Railway. It opened on the 1st of October 1881 and closed on the 7th July 1958, the original building remains as the Starbucks Cafe but there is nothing to be seen of the tracks and platforms as they are long gone to make way for the car park.
