The great man himself Sir Nigel Gresley stands in front of a brand new streamlined Class A4 4-6-2 No. 4498 on 30th October 1937. This iconic locomotive now preserved was named after him in honour of his achievements as the Chief Mechanical Engineer of the London North Eastern Railway.
