IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR TRAINSPOTTERS / RAILFANS TRAVELLING TO POLAND π΅π± For Railfans and Trainspotters that are planning to come to Poland within the next few weeks / months / years π΅π± It is with a heavy heart to Inform you that our stupid President, Andrzej Duda on the 30th of August 2023, has signed the anti-spy bill which bans rail photography on every station in Poland. This as well includes trackside outside of stations. People from here will tell you that photos trackside outside of stations after the ban is allowed. But think twice. The Train Drivers will report you to the Police even if their life depends on it. The Ban is in effect on the 1st of October 2023 Get your photos while you still can!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ The reason this ban has been signed in the first place is because of two reasons: 1. The War in Ukraine πΊπ¦ This is so stupid because the war is happening over 1000km away and will most likely never touch the face of Eastern Europe. 2. Our Corrupt government wants to control the free media π°πΊπ‘π» We currently have a corrupt government in the lead of our country and they've been trying absolutely everything in their power to take control of everything here. With this ban in place, journalism for the free media will become more and more difficult to document. Eventually will lead to their closure. We are slowly becoming more of a Hungary ππΊ than a free country ------------------------------------------------------------ On the 15th of October this year we will have our government elections. Hopefully the people of my country will be able to vote out our current corrupt f****. Hopefully by then if they get voted out, we'll be able to take down the photography ban. But if they win again... We will riot π₯π₯ Until then. Let us see what the future gives us.... NOTE: The consequences for taking pictures after the ban is in effect is as follows: - Phone / Camera Confiscation if you are caught once. - Arrest. If you are caught more than once.
