"Family photo" and a shot of the two #alco locomotives side by side. Current active roster of the Arcade & Attica, based out of Arcade, NY USA. Saying "Active" might be a little off the cuff, the steam locomotive is still a month or two away from pulling passengers, but the way I figure, she's running now. Centercab No. 113 runs passenger trains for now until the steam engine can fill in, and will continue to run various different excursion trains even after No. 18 returns to service. #114 is currently the main freight engine on the shortline, an Alco RS3M formerly of the Delaware & Hudson railroad. Not pictured are three other locomotives, all stored next to or inside the shops. No. 112, a 65 ton GE Centercab stored inside to be used for the 2024 Christmas trains presumably. Also inside rests Baldwin built No. 14, a 4-6-0 which requires a complete overhaul and several replacement parts should it be ran again. No. 111 (a 44ton GE Centercab) rests outside next to the shop, hidden by the structure. It is currently the most worn out engine on the shortline and it's fate is undetermined at the moment. It was the second diesel on the railroad, purchased directly from GE in 1947, and withdrawn from general service around 2012. #trainspotting #train #steam #diesel #roundhouse #america #usa #arcadeandattica
