"No longer the same" Zamość Bortatycze - Poland 🇵🇱 - 04.15.17 On an early April morning, one of PKP Cargo's many SM48 Class Diesel road switchers, sits offline, sulking in the morning sun near the Laude.pl container facility. In 2013 the loco you see in this photo was the lead engine on an special "Railfan Trip" passenger train called "Tamarą Do Hrubieszowa", which the train traveled from Lublin to Hrubieszów and back stopping at many Railroad related locations on its trip, this includes two major terminals on the LHS Railway system. The train consisted of this beauty on the front and 3 - 1st Class Intercity passenger cars in the back. In 2020 this loco has been rebuilt into the ST48 Class of loco's by Newag Nowy Sącz, and now carries the number 078. #trainspotting #lineside #photo #train #diesel #shunter #station #pkpcargo #poland
